I’ve tried not to put out a ‘life happened, so I have nothing new to say’ post. That is kept in reserve for when personal events become truly overwhelming, not just for accumulations of the ordinary. I could say where I am in writing, as I intended to when I decided to write these updates, but that has not changed since last time. No one wants to read another repetition of the same old same old.
And absolutely no one wants to read vagaries about how I’m working on time management skills, or getting my crap together.
Yet, several times I have felt like I had nothing new to report here. I have personal news, events and things, and various thoughts and questions and lighthearted research forays into them (the latest being “What is the philosophical core of Buddhism, anyway?”), but nothing which relates to my writing. Next month I’ll be hip deep in preparations for the NaNoWriMo challenge, but for now, well. September is my favorite month. How does that relate to writing?
I suppose I do have one thing. I have new story ideas – a minor flood of them, actually – but for fan fiction stories. Really, brain?!
Since I still expect no one reads these yet, I’ll address my question to whoever goes back and reads the archives. Is anyone interested in me publishing fan fiction stories?
