Edit it I shall. Hello, world, indeed! I am Victoria Sawyer, and welcome to my brand new website.

For the next month or so, things should change quite a bit around here as I learn what is possible, and fine-tune my ideas for what I want things to look like. Today, the 26th of May, I have stumbled across how to change text which is already in the template. (The update I did earlier may have had something to do with it, I don’t know.) I still have a lot to learn, so please keep your expectations for the immediate future a little lower than average.

This website, once it takes shape, will be an author’s website. I will post once a month, mostly about my progress in creating my stories. No doubt other ideas will occur to me, or will be suggested by any who happen to find and like this small alcove in the internet.

I look forward to seeing how this evolves.

Four months ago, I knew absolutely nothing at all about running a website. To be honest, I knew I would need one, and chose to set this up mostly to gain longevity, which I think helps search engine optimization. Now, however, I find myself excited about what I can do, what I will do in the future. Every time something goes right, it makes up for the hours of frustration trying to make some tool work.

This post will likely change. I will soon leave it alone; definitely after I make the next post. If you have read this far, I’ll ask you to check back now and then. Nothing will happen too quickly around here, and things will slow down even more once I figure out what I am doing, but I leave a warm and hearty welcome to you, and to anyone else who wants to visit.
